Victoria Kings were one of the great benga groups from Luo-land. They started in the 1970s with Ochieng Nelly as bandleader and, joined by long-time musical partner Collela Mazee, became one of the top-selling recording groups of the benga's golden age in the late 1970s and early '80s.
